The Last Ride Documentary
I am currently working on an incredible project and documentary, The Last Ride.
Two professional Skiers, Edward Sailsbury, GB park, and pipe team, and Willaim Tucker, UK freeskier, judge and coach, and the UK’s most acclaimed action sports filmmaker, Jon Moy will be the first and last to climb and ski down the tallest mountains on each of the seven continents.
The last ride is both a project to showcase the physical and mental endurance of the human body, as Ed and Will attempt ambitious and never done before ski descents, but at its heart, it’s a tale of climate change and how it's taking some of these incredible landscapes and habitats away from us. Sadly due to warming temperatures, some of these glaciers will not be with us for much longer.
I worked with Brighton University and Nutrition X on the project, to ensure the team are equipped for the Challenge ahead.
Nutrition X is the leading supplement provider for elite athletes and clubs, as well as making huge steps to be an environmentally conscious business, which is why they where the perfect partnership for this project and our athletes.
I have been focusing on their nutrition, both off and on the mountains. What they are attempting is incredibly demanding on the physical body, as well as mentally, the team needs to be in top health during training in between each summit and whilst also on the mountains.
Follow us on instagram and linktree to see what we do to support the team and follow the journey.
BBC Radio
I have been invited to speak on BBC radio for various interviews, covering a range of topics, including;
SImmune health, staying well during winter, nutrition during
lockdown, and the importance of vegetable intake in everyday diets.
